Join us where the sea breeze meets sizzling street food at the iconic Clock Tower Plaza. Our colorful celebration brings the vibrant flavors of Mexico to Kent’s favorite seaside town!
Watch little ones’ eyes light up as they discover the joy of fresh tacos and mild, child-friendly quesadillas. Let them shake maracas with our roaming mariachi band and join in traditional Mexican dancing on the plaza. There’s even a piñata party every afternoon!
From mouth-watering churros dusted with cinnamon to authentic elotes (grilled street corn), our food vendors serve up treats that’ll transport you straight to the streets of Mexico City. Parents can kick back with a refreshing agua fresca while the kids try their hand at tortilla making workshops.
Take in stunning sea views as the aroma of grilled meats and fresh lime fills the air. When the sun sets, the plaza comes alive with twinkling lights and the sound of guitars, creating the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable family evening by the beach.

SONIC WAVES CRASH AT SUNSET: NEPTUNE’S PROG ROCK SPECTACULAR!
The tides are turning and the amps are burning as Herne Bay Beach transforms into a mind-bending amphitheater of progressive rock! Watch the sun melt into the horizon as thundering bass lines ripple across the waves and soaring guitar solos pierce the sea mist.
Experience an epic collision of nature and noise as five hours of consciousness-expanding soundscapes echo off the chalk cliffs. Our lineup of visionary bands will weave tapestries of time signatures that dance with the rhythm of the tides.
Bring your blankets and prepare to be transported through sonic dimensions, as synchronized light shows paint the breaking waves and smoke machines merge with the rolling sea fog. Witness drum solos that challenge the thunder and synthesizer symphonies that commune with the stars.
From 20-minute cosmic epics to baroque-inspired keyboard odysseys, this is where Pink Floyd meets the white cliffs, where Yes meets the endless horizon. Let the maritime mist mingle with the melodies as you lose yourself in a kaleidoscope of progressive perfection.

Shake, jump, and twirl where the sea meets the sky! Join us on historic Herne Bay Pier for the most unique dance class in Kent – where every move comes with an ocean view!
Little dancers will learn fun, easy routines set to their favorite tunes while seagulls soar overhead and waves provide the perfect backdrop. Our experienced dance teachers make every session a maritime adventure, mixing moves inspired by the sea with classic party dances that’ll have everyone bouncing!
Watch your kids light up as they master the ‘Mermaid Spin’, perfect their ‘Seagull Swoop’, and learn the ‘Pier Pop’ – our signature moves that blend seaside fun with dance floor favorites. Every step comes with a smile, and every routine is designed for pure joy!
Parents can join in or relax on our pier-side seating, enjoying the fresh sea air while watching their little stars shine. With music pumping and streamers flying, we’re turning Kent’s favorite pier into the coolest dance floor in town!
Perfect for ages 4-11, these 45-minute sessions blend movement, music, and maritime magic. No dance experience needed – just bring your energy and get ready to move with the groove by the sea!
