Wild food walks for locals suitable for all the family, including wheelchair and mobility scooter users. The tour will focus on beginner friendly wild foods and include tips and tricks on easy wild foods to grow at home and how to make the most of native edible plants in our own gardens, windowsill or indoor growing space. Well also cover topics such as food waste, our local habitats and sustainability. All ages are welcome and no previous experience is required. Starting from the Kings Hall, we will walk at the group’s pace and explore around a dozen different wild vegetables, herbs , medicinal plants, salad plants and even spices while discussing the above topics.
