Welcome to Spoken by the Sea — a warm, inclusive gathering for lovers of language. Whether you’re a seasoned performer, a first-time reader, or here simply to listen, you’re very welcome.
We’re delighted to be joined by special guest Rosie Johnston.
Rosie is a Belfast-born poet and novelist whose work explores love, trauma, and resilience. Based in the UK, she has published several poetry collections, including Safe Ground (2025), Six-Count Jive, and Bittersweet Seventeens. Most recently, she read her poetry at the Faversham Literary Festival
