Herne Bay Festival 2026
Friday July 24 to Sunday August 16

Queerchella

Pier Ceylon 163 Station Rd, Herne Bay CT6 5NE

Queerchella represents a growing movement of LGBTQ+ centered music queer DJ dance party, giving summer beach vibes

Set on the Kent coast in the vibrant seaside town of Herne Bay, Queerchella celebrates the joy, freedom, and inclusivity that Pride brings to coastal communities. The event embraces the relaxed and uplifting atmosphere of summer by the sea, combining music, performance, community connection, and queer creativity in a beachside setting.

The “Sun” reflects positivity, visibility, and celebration of LGBTQ+ identities. The “Beach” highlights Herne Bay’s iconic coastal culture and creates an open, welcoming environment where people can come together safely and authentically. “Enjoy” is at the heart of Queerchella — encouraging attendees to celebrate diversity, self-expression, and community spirit through entertainment, social connection, and shared experiences.

By hosting Queerchella during festival month , we aim to create an energetic, inclusive, and memorable seaside experience that supports local queer culture while bringing people together to enjoy everything that makes Herne Bay special.
