Discover the Seaside Museum
From Dambusters to floods, piers to Punch and Judy, the Seaside Museum is packed with fascinating stories and unexpected treasures.
Explore displays of local paintings, prints and photographs, prehistoric elephant tusks and fossils discovered on nearby beaches, coastal wildlife, and a prototype of the famous Barnes Wallis Bouncing Bomb from the Second World War.
Our changing programme of exhibitions and events means there’s always something new to discover, whether you’re visiting for the first time or returning again.
Before you leave, browse our friendly gift shop, where you’ll find local history books, handmade gifts from local makers and a wonderful selection of seaside souvenirs.
The Seaside Museum is proudly managed and run entirely by dedicated volunteers, with all proceeds helping to support the museum and its work.
