We will have 3 workshops on 3 separate days with each one 2 hours
Sunday 25th July 2 – 4pm —- Monday 26th July 11am to 1pm —- Tuesday 27th July 11am to 1pm
These workshops will involve inter-generational activities combining ideas for each to build a scarecrow that will be displayed in people’s gardens . We hope to link children with grandparents and parents so that this will be a whole family experience.
Our tutor Sarah Knowler will also get her students involved from Canterbury College (as a community project) so we should have a large number of scarecrows to display around the town
Once these are achieved, it is then planned to have a scarecrow trail which people can follow during the festival.
We will be involving volunteers from Beach Creative and also Herne Bay in Bloom
PICK UP A TRAIL MAP from Beach Creative and look out for the Scarecrows around Herne Bay
For enquiries about individual events, please contact the organisers directly using the contact details on the event page.
A massive thanks to all of our visitors, sponsors, helpers, acts and contributors who took part in the 2021 festival which has now, sadly, come to an end.
