Herne Bay Festival

Gardens for All – A series of social events at the Herne Bay in Bloom community garden, primarily for those without gardens and allotments. 1. Sunday 20th August 10am-12.00 Garden Herbal Tea Party – a warm welcome to the community kitchen garden where we will make our own herbal teas and learn about the benefits of some easy to grow herbs. 2. Sunday 20th August 1pm-3pm Children’s Mocktail Tea Party – play, create and discover in the community kitchen garden. A drop in event where guests young can create a garden mocktail with freshly picked herbs and garnish with delights such as gummy worms and rose petals! 3. Sunday 20th 4pm-6pm August Craft and Play Pollinator Party – Family fun at the Herne Bay in Bloom Kitchen Garden. A drop in event with craft activities and adventure for those who love pollinators – plus learn about some easy to grow plants which they love!

Sunday 20th August drop in 10am-12.00 for the garden herbal tea party! Enjoy drinks and friendly chats in the garden and if you like try a herbal infusion with freshly picked herbs and edible flowers!
