Herne Bay Festival

There will be 3 sessions   10.00am to 11.30am ——-12.00pm to 1.30pm ——-2pm to 3.30pm

Join forager Amy from Forth and Forage on the Herne Bay downs exploring our forgotten herbs, edible flowers and even spices! This walk is family-friendly and step-free!We’ll build confidence by touching, sniffing and discovering the features of plants and their incredible uses.On the way back to the Kings Hall, we will use some of the natural materials around us to create a picture or message. What will we create together..?

The walk is fully accessible and step-free. On-lead, friendly dogs are welcome. People with additional needs are welcome to join this relaxed experience.

Making a picture or message using natural materials. Discovering plants which can be used as natural twine and binding instead of buying elastic bands or plastic ties.

Discovering creative uses for the wild food we discover for example decorating cakes, making mocktails and flower infused syrups
