A FREE family friendly workshop, exploring the art of cyanotype printing. Cyanotype printing is one of the earliest forms of photography, dating back to 1843!
Using the power of the sunlight, objects are arranged onto ultra-violet sensitive paper and exposed to the sunlight. Once the paper has been exposed to UV light, the objects are removed revealing a silhouette print. Lastly, the print is washed in tap water to fix the image to the paper. The final outcome is a striking blue & white silhouette print.
This event is suitable for all ages, abilities and skill levels. No previous experience is required.
