Working in partnership with the British Cartoon Archive at the University of Kent, our exhibitions at the Seaside Museum explore aspects of the history of cartooning and educate the public about this. This year’s exhibition will explore the history of comic strips from its earliest days to the most recent first black female superhero, Nubia. Comics are very popular with children and we hope this exhibition will be very well attended by them and their families. Cartoons and comics attract young audiences who do not often go to galleries or feel art is not for them.
This August, admission to the Seaside Museum in Herne Bay will be FREE thanks to funding from Herne Bay Festival
In July and August the Museum is open from 11am to 4pm Tuesday through Saturday
